OVERVIEW OF THE DEPARTMENT
The Department of Process Equipment and Gas Engineering is assigned by the Faculty to manage specialized courses in engineering and technology. Currently, the Department oversees the major in Process Equipment and Gas Engineering.
The Department has 12 full-time lecturers, including 01 Associate Professor, 05 PhD holders, 01 PhD candidate, and 05 MSc holders. Each year, the Department supervises the graduation theses of approximately 50 undergraduate students and 5 graduate students.

2. ACADEMIC SPECIALIZATION
The Department is responsible for teaching fundamental courses in Process Engineering, including: Physical Chemistry, Heat Transfer, Mass Transfer, Reaction Engineering, Catalysis Engineering, Process Measurement and Control, and Process Simulation.
The Department also offers advanced and specialized courses for the major in Process Equipment and Gas Engineering, such as: Refrigeration Engineering, Drying Engineering, Structural Design, Plant Design, Chemical Equipment Design, Absorption–Distillation System Design, Oil Refining Technology, Gas Processing Technology, Polymer Processing, Pipeline and Tank Design, and Project Management.
3. RESEARCH AREAS
The Department supervises graduation projects for students majoring in Process Equipment and Gas Engineering, as well as those from related disciplines, in research areas such as:
- Design and fabrication of equipment for chemical, food, and pharmaceutical engineering
- Simulation of manufacturing processes and equipment systems
- Production line design for cosmetics and food industries
- Process improvement and optimization
- Oil refining and petrochemical processing
- Nanotechnology applications
- Cosmetic and pharmaceutical technology
- Environmental engineering and treatment
