FACULTY OF CHEMICAL ENGINEERING (HUIT)

PROMOTES BUSINESS CONNECTIONS AND CREATIVE THINKING AMONG STUDENTS

On May 9, 2026, the Faculty of Chemical Engineering, Ho Chi Minh City University of Industry and Trade (HUIT), successfully organized a series of academic activities under the chairmanship of Assoc. Prof. Dr. Nguyen Thi Hong Anh. The event featured three key highlights:

The signing ceremony of Memoranda of Understanding (MOUs) with nine reputable partners, expanding internship and career opportunities for students.

The academic seminar titled “A Creative and Modern Breath from Tradition”, which offered in-depth perspectives from leading experts in the field.

The final round of the “Creative Ideas for Beautiful Chemistry” competition, providing a practical platform for students to present highly applicable research proposals.

The event series was logically structured to create a strong connection between academic learning and real-world practice. It reaffirmed the university’s application-oriented training strategy while helping students shape their mindset and develop innovative ideas in the field.

The program opened with an inspiring speech by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Ngo Thanh An, emphasizing the university’s educational orientation of linking scientific knowledge with social practice.

During the seminar session, Ms. Thai Thi Hong Uyen shared valuable insights into skin structure, analyzed the causes of common skin-related issues, and introduced a new approach: transforming science into creative value. The atmosphere in the auditorium became highly engaging as students actively raised questions and interacted directly with the speaker, demonstrating their eagerness to learn and explore.

Notably, the program attracted a large number of students, who showed great interest in learning from the speaker’s new knowledge as well as her personal experience.

The event also marked an important milestone as Dr. Huynh Van Tien, representing the university, signed cooperation agreements with four companies and five spas in the fields of chemistry and beauty care. This partnership not only opens up more practical experience opportunities for students but also contributes to improving training quality, creating a sustainable bridge between the university, enterprises, and students.

At the end of the program, the Organizing Committee sent letters of appreciation to partners and guests, expressing sincere gratitude and a commitment to long-term collaboration. Seminar 3 concluded with many memorable highlights, while the spirit of creativity, learning, and training–industry connection will continue to spread throughout the HUIT student community.
